The State Cabinet approved a new contract to complete the Ejipura flyover
The long-delayed Ejipura flyover now has a new lease on life after the State cabinet authorized a new contract with a Hyderabad-based company on Thursday. This will allow the flyover on the important Koramangala 100 feet road, which has been sitting idle for at least five years and angered locals and commuters alike, to resume construction.

After the cabinet authorized the re-tender, the work order will be issued soon, according to Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy, who is also a local MLA. “We have an ambitious one-year deadline to finish the flypast,” he stated.
Due to lengthy delays and a contractor change midway through the project, the project’s costs have increased by about 104 crore. The overall project cost would now be 307.96 crore, up from 204 crore when construction first started in 2017. This was decided by the cabinet on Thursday.
