Work on the remaining portion of the ORR underpass begins after an eight-year wait.

The underpass at Kanteerava Studio's junction on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road (ORR) would help residents of Rajajinagar, Nandini Layout, Mahalakshmi Layout, and Kuruburahalli as they travel towards Tumukuru after it is completed.

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has finally begun work on the remaining stretch of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) underpass. This underpass at the National Skill Training Institute junction, also known as Kanteerava Studios, was intended to be built eight years ago.

Even though one-half of the underpass, towards Peenya, was finished a few years ago, it could not be used because the other half was delayed owing to a land acquisition issue.

The land purchase issue has finally been resolved, and work on the underpass has resumed. Once completed, the underpass would serve residents of Rajajinagar, Nandini Layout, Mahalakshmi Layout, and Kuruburahalli as they travel towards Tumukuru.
