Bengaluru Cab Driver Creates His Own App to Compete With Ola and Uber

Bengaluru, India's startup center, has recently been the subject of countless online memes highlighting unique events that can only happen in the city. Many stories of "peak Bengaluru" moments--a term used to characterize the eye-catching events that occur in India's IT capital--can be found on the internet. A user recently mentioned that a cab driver has established and is advertising his ride-sharing application in the market. He aspires to compete with industry behemoths Uber and Ola.

The post was shared by a user known as The Bengaluru Man. "Peak Bengaluru: Mr Lokesh, my uber cab driver, informed me that he has launched his own app to compete with uber and ola, and that it already has over 600 drivers." Furthermore, they introduced their IOS version for Apple today," he stated on X, formerly Twitter, and published a brochure with the company's website, customer support number, and email address on it.

Lokesh, the taxi driver, once gave me a ride from the airport. He was quite enterprising and requested me to phone him if I needed a trip to the airport, claiming to have a gang of taxi drivers who work together. "I wonder if it's the same guy," one user speculated. The Bengaluru Guy said, "Wow.

It might be the same person. Even Lokesh sounded like a businessman. I was told that this was his concept and company. Told how he hired a business to execute the app's development and requested him to call him if he needed a car."
