In Bengaluru, a BMW motorcycle collides with a car, killing the rider.

On Wednesday night, a 34-year-old man riding a BMW bike died and the pillion rider was injured in a collision between the bike and a car near Ashoka Pillar junction in Jayanagar.

Shaik Nausheer Ahmed, a resident of Dairy Circle on Hosur Road, has been identified as the dead. He was a used bike trader with an office in the fourth block of Jayanagar. The pillion rider is a Tumakuru trader of about 28 years old. According to authorities, he is not in danger of losing his life.

The incident occurred about 9.20 p.m. Ahmed, who was riding his bike at high speed, collided with a car coming from the left side and heading towards Someshwaranagar.

According to preliminary research, Ahmed was attempting to demonstrate the condition and performance of the BMW motorcycle with registration number KA-01-HW-1272 to his customer. They were both without wearing helmets. Ahmed rode his bike from T Mariyappa Road to the Ashoka Pillar intersection. He failed to detect an automobile and crashed into the front portion of it from the left side while rushing.

Both riders on the bike were injured. A witness to the tragedy took the couple to a neighboring private hospital, where physicians confirmed Ahmed dead about 9.50 p.m. The pillion rider was taken to NIMHANS hospital and then transferred to a private facility.

The cops seized both the motorcycle and a Maruti Suzuki Baleno with the registration number KA-03-NM-8146. The Wilson Garden traffic police have taken up the case against the car driver and are investigating based on the complaint lodged by Ahmed's elder brother Shaik Irshad Ahmed.
