For thousands of users around the world, X (previously Twitter) went down for almost an hour. The outage began around 10:37am IST, according to the website status tracker Downdetector, and about 1,200 users reported troubles with the microblogging network within 20 minutes. Around 65,000 customers were unable to access X at the height of the outage.

Downdetector's live outage map revealed that the issue was affecting all X platforms, from mobile to PC. The map also revealed that the majority of reports came from places such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Nagpur.

It should be noted that the outage appears to be affecting users worldwide, as Downdetector reports problems with Twitter in Argentina, Australia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Since Musk took over X in October of last year, the platform has been plagued by repeated disruptions and downtimes.

However, in most cases, services were restored within hours, as was the case with the most recent outage.

X experienced many outages during a 24-hour period in September. The corporation nearly never shares the source of the outages, and because to a now-defunct official mail that responds to media inquiries with a juvenile emoji, it's difficult to figure out what's going on.
