Bengaluru: PVR INOX, India's prominent cinema chain, is preparing to broadcast the live ceremony of consecration of Ayodhya's Ram temple in 70 places, including Bengaluru. The big cultural event takes place today, January 22, and the temple, which spans 70 acres, will open to the public following the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol.

PVR INOX, in collaboration with the Aaj Tak news channel, will broadcast the live ceremony in more than 160 cinemas across 70 Indian locations. Gautam Dutta, Co-CEO of PVR INOX Ltd., stressed the need of making such historical occasions memorable.

He stated that witnessing these moments on cinema screens will evoke the feelings of this collective celebration, providing a unique and immersive experience.

When asked about the details, Dutta replied, "Our commitment to providing a memorable and immersive cinematic experience goes beyond entertainment, and we are excited to share this historic moment with our patrons." The live showing runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and tickets cost Rs 100, which includes a beverage and popcorn combo.

A government directive has been issued in Bengaluru and other temples in Karnataka for a special pooja to be held on January 22, coinciding with the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
