Bengaluru's Warning Against Smartphone 'Zombies' is the Wake-up Call We Needed.

In a world where being unattached from our mobile phones is uncommon, only a few courageous souls resist the digital siren call. For the rest, the day unfolds and ends with the pervasive glow of their iPhones, gently draining their'smartness'.

How, you ask? As if you weren't already aware that this distraction is snatching not only our peace, but also lives! To emphasize this point, a signboard in Bengaluru served as the town crier for all those walking around with their noses buried in their phones.

The signboard reads, 'Be Aware of Smartphone Zombies,' which poignantly compares 'cellcoholics' to lifeless entities blissfully unaware of their surroundings. Shared by the 'X' user, @prakritea17, with the description, "This signboard in BLR singlehandedly attacked our entire generation," the photo went viral, provoking a spirited chorus of reactions from the public.

"Nowadays it looks like talking over the phone while crossing the busiest junction is a mandatory stuff for pedestrians people lack basic sense," said one user. Another went on to say, "Yes I too see many people using mobile in traffic they can't wait for 30 to 60 (avg signal seconds) without using mobile."
