On Rahul's Bharat, the Congress claims that the Assam Chief Minister is causing hurdles. Jodo Nyay Yatra.

After three days in Assam, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra on Saturday entered Arunachal Pradesh. It will resume its Assam leg on Sunday, traveling through the state until January 25.

The Congress on Saturday claimed that the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra', led by party leader Rahul Gandhi, has been denied permission to pass through Guwahati because Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is causing obstacles for it.

Sarma had requested the Congress to avoid entering Guwahati with the Yatra and threatened legal action.

On Saturday, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh told a press conference in Gobindapur, Lakhimpur district, claiming the police had said the plea was 'under review'.

"We applied for permissions through proper channels, but the government officials are asking irrelevant questions." "They're going after us anyway," Ramesh replied.

"We would like to request the Assam Government to allow us to travel through the same route used for BJP President JP Nadda during his recent visit to Guwahati," he said in a statement.
