K'taka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar on Rs 3700 crores fund released by Center

DK Shivakumar, Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister, said, "After all of our efforts, the Centre has finally released some cash to the state. What is terrible is that the BJP is portraying it as a victory. We sought for Rs. 18,000 crore. It is our right, and they have released almost Rs 3700 crore.

The BJP government has done injustice to Karnataka. We will not tolerate that; it is an inconceivable injustice. In response, we shall stage a massive protest with our MLAs and ministers at the Gandhi statue, Vidhana Soudha."
