Advocate accuses CM Siddaramaiah of defamation in the MUDA scam

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was sued by TJ Abraham for defamation after he was accused of being involved in the MUDA scam and called him a blackmailer.

On Wednesday, advocate-activist T J Abraham announced that he has filed a defamation complaint in a special court here against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for allegedly branding him a blackmailer.

In the alleged Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) fraud, he was one of the petitioners who petitioned Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot to allow an investigation against the Chief Minister.

"Siddaramaiah made several public remarks in his zeal for retribution against me. Abraham told PTI, "He called me a person with bad antecedents and a blackmailer." "You (Siddaramaiah) brand me a blackmailer after stealing 14 websites with a false and unlawful claim! You are the target of a defamation lawsuit I filed.

We'll see how you manage to get away," he added. According to the MUDA lawsuit, Siddaramaiah's wife was given compensation sites in a posh neighborhood of Mysuru that had a higher property worth than the land that the MUDA had "acquired" from her. Instead of 3.16 acres of Parvathi's land, the MUDA had given her plots in a 50:50 ratio arrangement.
