Kanguva Siva is the director of the 2024 Indian Tamil-language epic fantasy action movie, which was produced by Studio Green in collaboration with UV Creations.
Alongside Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Kovai Sarala, Vatsan Chakravarthy, Anandaraj, and K. S. Ravikumar, Suriya plays two characters in the movie.
The pandemic in India and the actor and director's other obligations caused the production, which had been announced in April 2019, to be shelved. Principal photography began that month after it was resumed in August 2022, and it lasted for seventeen months, ending in January 2024. Chennai, Goa, Kerala, Kodaikanal, and Rajahmundry were the locations for the film's production.
Editor Nishadh Yusuf, cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy, and composer Devi Sri Prasad are all part of the technical team. One of the priciest Indian films ever produced, it was made on a budget of about ₹300–350 crore.
