BJP members demonstrated against the Waqf Board's alleged encroachment in a number of Karnataka districts, including Kalaburagi and Ballari. Farmers and seers joined the demonstration as well.
Karnataka Legislative Council Leader of the Opposition Chalavadi Narayanaswamy stated that the Waqf Board is seizing all of the farmers' land and that the state-wide demonstration will continue for three days until November 23.
