Long lines at Bengaluru airport result from a Cab shortage.

Hundreds of taxi drivers have ceased collecting customers from the Bengaluru airport due to low pay. Due to the lack of taxis, passengers are forced to wait anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes, primarily in lines for Ola and Uber.

Such a video was shared on November 12 by Karnataka Portfolio, an X account, which claimed that the wait period was almost an hour. Only 500 taxis are pulling up to the Ola and Uber stands at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), according to Tanveer Pasha, president of the Ola Uber Driver's and Owner's Association. Six months ago, there were between 1,500 and 2,000 of them.

In order to purchase cars, many drivers have sold their vehicles. He claims that they discover that auto rides are more profitable.

According to reports, in August, Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) raised the pickup cost for ride-hailing companies from Rs 172 to Rs 260. According to Pasha, that might have caused the exit.
