Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Abhishek Sharma produced a batting masterclass on Saturday, smashing the fifth-fastest century in Indian Premier League (IPL) history during a high-octane clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
The 23-year-old left-hander reached the landmark in just 40 balls, sending the Hyderabad crowd into a frenzy. It was also the second-fastest century ever scored by an SRH player, only behind Travis Head’s 39-ball ton against Royal Challengers Bengaluru last season.
