Reliance Foundation announces results for itsprestigious scholarships on the eve of ShriDhirubhai Ambani's 93rd birth anniversary: 5100 UG, PG students selected
Over 33,000 scholarships awarded till date

Mumbai, December 27, 2025: On the eve of the 93rd birth anniversary of Reliance Founder and Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, Reliance Foundation announced the results of its prestigious Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships for 2025-26.
In a meaningful stride toward national capacity building, Reliance Foundation has selected 5,000 undergraduate and 100 postgraduate scholars for this year’s scholarships. This announcement marks another step forward in Reliance Foundation’s commitment to nurture youth, inspired by the vision of Reliance Founder and Chairman, Shri Dhirubhai Ambani. In 2022 Mrs Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson, Reliance Foundation, announced the enhanced commitment to award 50,000 scholarships over 10 years.
A Vision in Action: Since the 2022 commitment, Reliance Foundation scaled its efforts to support India’s youth through their higher education journey. The selection process for the 2025-26 cohort was highly competitive, reflecting the immense talent across India. From over 1,25,000 applications, 5,100 students have been selected representing 15,544 institutes. The scholars selected for this academic year, hail from across 28 states and 4 Union Territories, showcasing the pan-India reach of the programme.
Impact and Diversity: The selected cohort also reflects a deep commitment to diversity and merit.
• Economic support: True to the mission of enabling merit-cum-means, 83% of the cohort comes from households with an annual income of less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
• Academic brilliance: An exceptional 97% of the undergraduate scholars scored above 90% in their Class XII examinations.
• Gender balance: Among the 5000 undergraduate scholars, 48% are female and 52% male.
• Inclusivity: Promoting education for all, this year 146 scholars are Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
The 100 postgraduate scholars who are selected represent the pinnacle of scientific and technological talent in India, pursuing advanced degrees in ’future-ready’ fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Renewable Energy, and Life Sciences.
Beyond the grant: Selected scholars access a global alumni network and expert-led development programmes for future leadership. Former scholars have secured premier global placements while demonstrating academic excellence through published research and international representation.
